Demon WP along with Cyper WP and Cynoff WP are considered long lasting residual insecticides, lasting up to 3 months. Demon WP is an odorless product and can be used indoors as well as outdoors. Due to the contain of the material it is recommended that the mixed product is shaken often as it is being sprayed. Be extra careful when spraying Demon WP around dark furniture and surface for it will leave a stain. Demon WP uses a knock down method to control pest, meaning the minute the pest comes into contact with Demon WP it will die. When using Demon WP we recommend that a sprayer like Chaplin 1 Gallon is used to mix and spray the product.

Unfortunately for me, this did not work. I moved from a roach infested apartment and because it was a quick move I didnt have time to make sure all the cockroaches were out of our belongings. Long story short; I saw a roach, I sprayed it, it looked at me and asked, "Are you making a swimming pool for me? Thanks!" I used all 4 packets in 1 gallon of water. I emptied a Home Defense 1 gallon bottle, cleaned it very thouroughly and followed all the directions on the envelope. It did not kill anything on contact, not even a little bitty tiny baby cockroach that I found at the bottom of a box. I didnt check the date on the envelope so maybe it could have been expired or maybe the roaches in Southern California are mutated super-strength roaches killed only by the bottom of a shoe. I tend to read reviews before I buy so either all you other users are liars or I got expired product. Either way, this was made in India. So, I figure I'd rather buy cheap, ineffective roach killer made in America than cheap ineffective roach killer made somewhere else.

Amazing product I live in Florida and have been using the standard off the shelf stuff from HD, the roaches could swim in the stuff. I didn't have an infestation but would see about 2-3 roaches a week crawling in the house. I sprayed Demon inside and outside as per the directions. The next day I found 10 dead / dying roaches outside the house near the front door and on patio, later in the week I found 3 dead roaches inside the house. It's been 2 months and I haven't seen a roach inside or outside my house since.

I have been using Demon WP since 1995. It was the first persistant insecticide I found that worked on spiders. After using it for a few years, I discovered that as long as the powder is not washed away or cleaned off, it will continue to kill bugs for at least two years. I then only had to re-apply Demon once every other year.
Once the water evaporates, a powder film is left behind. When the bug walks through the powder, it's dead a short time later. No odor, no fumes, it's the best. It also does a number on ants. After you hit their trails, nest and food source, they evacuate, never to return.
A professional exterminator told me recently his company quit using Demon because it works too good, causing them to lose business, because customer's cancel their scheduled regular treatments.
