Okay readers. This is a great product with a V E R Y inaccurate finished product volume (hence the 1 star rating). I got each brick put them in a 1 gallon rectangle tupperware container with about half a gallon of filtered water. Each expanded nicely. But totaled no more than 3100 cubic inches for all 5 bricks!!! Under 2 cubic feet! Well short of the claimed 29,160 square inches! I DO not think a product should get a five star rating with such FALSE advertising claims! I knew this would be the case from previous reviewers prior to buying product. I would still buy this again because it is the finest worm bed media money can buy period. Amazon should pull this product until the manufacturer corrects the description. Is it worth 20 bucks, certainly is! But false advertising always needs to be called out.

Switched from using peat/perlite to using coir/perlite and it works great. Use pH adjusted water 5.5-6.5 and 1/3 strength nutrient solution along with a rooting powder on day 1, put under humidity dome. Water with 2/3 strength solution at day 7 and then full strength at 2 weeks.
